These terms are an agreement between Reykjanes Tech ehf., a company registered in Iceland ("we", "us"), and the business or person that uses PIM ("you"). PIM includes pim.is, the PIM web application, the PIM API and the PIM kiosk app. By creating an account or using PIM, you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
1. The service
PIM is a product information management service. You can store and enrich product information, connect other systems through integrations and the API, and show products on kiosks. We may improve and change PIM over time. If we remove a feature that is central to your plan, we will tell you in advance.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details and API credentials secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account and team accounts, including actions taken by your members and by tools you connect with your credentials.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance each month, in US dollars. Prices are shown on our pricing page and exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added at checkout where required. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which may appear as the seller on your receipt and invoices.
- Each plan includes the limits shown on the pricing page, such as products, team members, integrations and kiosks. If you need more, you can move to a larger plan or contact us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
- New team accounts start with a 7-day free trial of the Business plan. No card is needed. When the trial ends, you need to choose a paid plan to keep using PIM; your data is kept while you decide.
- We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
- If a payment fails and isn't resolved after we remind you, we may suspend paid features until it is.
4. Your data
You own the product information and other content you put into PIM ("your data"). You give us the right to host, copy, process and transmit your data only as needed to provide PIM to you, including sending it to the integrations, kiosks, AI tools and other software you choose to connect. You are responsible for having the rights to your data and for its accuracy and lawfulness.
When we process personal data contained in your data, we do so as your processor, on your instructions and in line with our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request.
5. Connected services
PIM can exchange data with services operated by others, such as e-commerce platforms, ERP systems and AI providers. Those services are not part of PIM and are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or how they handle data you send them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights using PIM;
- try to access other customers' data, or test, probe or attack PIM's security without our written permission;
- overload PIM, for example with automated requests that go far beyond normal use of your plan;
- resell PIM, or copy or reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or
- upload malware or content that is unlawful or harmful.
We may suspend access that puts PIM, our customers or others at risk. Where possible, we will tell you first.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep PIM available and secure, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and planned maintenance may occasionally be needed. Support is provided by email at the level included in your plan. Any service-level commitment applies only if we agree it with you in writing.
8. Intellectual property
PIM, including its software, design and documentation, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use PIM during your subscription; they don't transfer ownership. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the purposes of this agreement, unless the law requires disclosure.
10. Warranties and liability
PIM is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, such as fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for PIM in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using PIM and delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement if you seriously breach these terms and don't fix the breach within 14 days of our notice, or immediately where the breach puts PIM or others at risk. Before you leave, you can export your products through the PIM API and product feeds. After your account is deleted, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. If you keep using PIM after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together will be settled by the District Court of Reykjanes (Héraðsdómur Reykjaness). If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
