Connect your AI assistant to PIM once, then ask things like "Write a description for every outerwear product that doesn't have one" and it does the work.

Claude

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it PIM and paste the URL above.
3. Choose Connect, then sign in to PIM.
4. Pick the team to connect, decide whether Claude may update products, and choose Allow.

Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector for your organisation first.

ChatGPT

Add PIM as a custom connector in ChatGPT's connector settings, using the same URL, then sign in to PIM and choose Allow. Custom connectors are only available on some ChatGPT plans.

Run this once in your terminal, then use /mcp in Claude Code to sign in:

Ask in plain language

• "Which products in Outerwear are missing a description?"
• "Write a short description for each of them, in the same tone as our best sellers."
• "Add the Unisex tag to every cardigan."

Before changing more than a few products, your AI shows you how many it will update, with examples, and waits for your go-ahead.

Good to know

• Updates only change the fields your AI sends. Everything else on a product stays as it is.
• Changes sync to your connected channels and kiosks like any other edit, so review drafts before you approve a large update.
• See and disconnect connected apps under Integrations → API Access. Disconnecting stops access straight away.
